Natural Perfumers Guild Member Jeanne Rose - Blending and Perfumery Classes

We can confirm that the next "Natural Botanical Perfumery" course and series with Jeanne Rose will be held in a series of 4-weekend classes commencing in Feb. 2010.

These 3-day courses provide comprehensive instruction to botanical and quality artisanal perfumery. We use only natural ingredients and we show the differences between what is available now as natural and what was available for comparison purpose. We have over 175 items to use in your work and hundreds more library and ancient odors to look at. The course covers everything from perfect Blending for therapy or perfume, to perfect Perfumery - building a unique and perfect scent combining your favorite and soon to become favorites odors. The Vocabulary of Odor© as developed by Jeanne Rose is used. Constructing a unique odor is fun and much will be learned. Each of the 4 weekends includes a new and practical
workbook as developed by Jeanne Rose from her 45 years of experience. We incorporate working as a group, in pairs, singly, and teach uses of laboratory equipment. Every class is different and unique; every class builds on what has been learned before.

It costs $450-$475 per person per class. Discounts are available if PIF (Paid In Full) before 12/31/09 or if more than one class is taken. We take all credit cards.

Make perfumery skills with a systematic and logical progression from the basics of measurement to the sophistication of complex perfumery. Learn myriad techniques, skills and uses of equipment for making solid and liquid perfumes. Learn the three ways of verbalizing a blend or single scent. Learn the nuances
and olfactory texture of 150 exotic essential oils, absolutes, waxes, concretes, alcohols and carrier oils. Work hands-on to go beyond formulas in books and expand personal expertise and repertoire.
